Function/Position objectives
As member of a motivated team you are responsible for the management of the bank's client reporting and the surrounding areas. This envolves requirements gathering and specification design together with your business peers, hands-on parametization of the application (where needed with assistance of the vendor) as well as scripting of interfaces between the applications. On top you will help transforming data documents coming from the core banking system or other sources into nice client output documents using a state of the art layouting tool.  
  • Holistic management of our output and archiving systems. This includes project work when it comes to new functionalities or business requirements, the integration of new organizational entities or new applications as well as application maintenance to keep the tools stable.
  • Assistance and consultation in the requirements definition of client reporting adaptions and the resulting implementation in the OMS layouting tool
  • Taking over the technical project lead in small and medium sized projects in the areas of responsibility
  • Testing and documentation
  • Work closely together with developers in related areas, with business representatives as well as with external software companies
  • Taking over ownership of solutions developed or maintained by you
  • Bachelor degree in business informatics, computer science, software engineering or related discipline; alternatively proven professional track record in one of the named areas
  • Experience in application management ideally in a client reporting related area
  • Linux knowhow and experience in related topics like network and storage (NetApp is a plus)
  • Knowledge in a scripting language like Python, Perl or Shell scripting and experience with relational databases (Oracle) and data access (SQL/PLSQL)
  • Experience in document layouting or flair for outpout design
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to take over responsibilities where applicable
  • Fluent in English, German is an advantage
