Investment Analyst / Portfolio Manager - Health Care (Ref. 1755)

Function/Position objectives
We are looking for an Investment Analyst / Portfolio Manager to strengthen our Thematic Equities team. In this role, you will be contributing investment ideas to the fund on a global basis and across multiple healthcare industries. Integrating sustainability into decision making plays an important role for us. Capabilities to maintain and improve tools that are relevant for our investment process would be a plus.
  • Analyze the global Health Care stocks for the JSS Sustainable Equity - Future Health fund
  • Support the lead portfolio manager in the selection of best investment themes and highest conviction stock ideas. Contribute to the portfolio construction process.
  • Create and maintain equity valuation models for covered stocks, conduct research on the positioning in the sector.
  • Cooperate with the sales teams and product specialists on developing high quality presentations and thematic publications. Give presentations on the fund to internal and external audience
  • Integrate sustainability into investment process
  • Further develop analytical tools for the thematic investment team
  • Very good academic qualifications, Master degree and/or CFA preferred
  • At least 5 years experience as a sell-side or buy-side equity analyst in the Health Care sector with strong understanding of equity modelling techniques
  • Strong communication skills to professionally present thematic investment strategies
  • Positive, dynamic and highly motivated personality
  • Rapid grasp of new concepts as well as a highly analytical way of thinking
  • Good technical skills. Programming skills (VBA, Python, etc.) would be a plus
  • Fluent in English, German would be a plus.
